Products Covered
This Limited and Non-Transferable Warranty applies to P.H. Tech S-7500, S-8500, S-8710, S-8712, S-8750, S-8770 Silensia® and P.H. Tech S-8375, S-8385, S-8385W Celesta® exterior sliding patio doors purchased on or after January 1, 2026, from P.H. Tech Inc., and installed in Canada or U.S.A. only.
Any warranties given previously do not apply and are null and void with respect to Products manufactured from and after January 1, 2026.
Coverage Summary
Subject to the conditions, disclaimers, limitations, and exclusions herein, P.H. Tech Inc. (“PH”) warrants that the Product will be free from non-conformities in material and workmanship for 1 year. PH will repair, replace, or refund any Product that fails to meet this Limited Warranty installed in a residential application up to an elevation of not more than three (3) stories. For applications greater than 3 stories, refer to the warranty coverage table below.
Labor: Labor costs are not included. PH will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the removal, replacement, installation, or reinstallation of the PH product.

General Exclusions
The Limited Warranty does not cover damage, defects, or problems caused by factors beyond PH’s control, including but not limited to:
Installation, Maintenance, and Environmental Factors
- Non-compliance with PH’s installation instructions, industry best practices, or applicable building codes
- Improper or unconventional field finishing
- Installations that are non-vertical, sloped, upside down, or out of square
- Use in applications that exceed design standards or in high-humidity environments such as near pools, saunas, or hot tubs
- Installations or use exceeding 5,000 feet altitude without capillary tubes, unless specified
- Exposure to sources of chlorine or integration with incompatible third-party systems
Care and Maintenance
- Failure to adhere to PH’s care and maintenance guidelines
- Inadequate treatment, sealing, or maintenance of exposed wood
- Use of harsh or inappropriate cleaning agents like brick wash, ammonia, or razor blades
Misuse and Alterations
- Misuse, abuse, accidental damage, or modifications
- Application of third-party products like films, tinting, or security systems
- Structural shifts or settling impacting product performance
Environmental and External Conditions
- Extreme weather events, unusual atmospheric conditions, or Acts of God
- Water infiltration not caused by manufacturing defects
- Normal wear and tear, including discoloration or fading of finishes
- Variations in wood color, texture, and grain
- Glass imperfections that meet ASTM or industry standards and do not affect structural integrity
- Color changes due to normal weathering or UV light exposure
- War, insurrection, civil unrest, terrorism, or Acts of God
- Formation of frost or condensation due to improper installation or handling
- Damage occurring during shipping, from fire or water, or due to tampering
Vinyl Frame and Sash Components
From the date of purchase, the vinyl frame and vinyl sash components — excluding painted or coated parts — will be free from manufacturing defects for twenty (20) years in residential applications (3 stories or less) and ten (10) years for all other applications (more than 3 stories). During this period, the components will not rot, pit, peel, flake, split, blister, or corrode under normal wear due to manufacturing defects.
Exterior Aluminum Finish
PH’s standard exterior aluminum cladding finish is covered against manufacturing defects leading to chalking, fading, and adhesion loss (peeling) per AAMA Specification 2605, Sections 8.4 and 8.9, for twenty (20) years after the date of purchase. For aluminum complying with AAMA 2603 and 2604, the warranty is for five (5) years. Color fading will not exceed ΔE ≤ 8.0 (ASTM D2244).
Anodized finishes and other specialty exterior finishes are warranted for five (5) years.
Standard AAMA 2605 finishes installed in coastal environments (within 1 mile / 1.6 km of saltwater) are warranted against abnormal deterioration for ten (10) years. Anodized and specialty finishes are not covered in coastal environments.
Wood Components
PH does not warrant wood components, including jamb extensions or wood brickmoulds.
Vinyl Interior and Exterior Laminate
PH provides a five (5)-year Limited Warranty on Vinyl Laminated Products against cracking, chalking, peeling, checking, delamination, blistering, and flaking. This warranty does not cover uniform fading or color changes due to normal weather. Laminates should only be cleaned with mild detergent and water — cleaners containing ammonia must not be used and will void the warranty.
Vinyl Painted and Stained Finishes
The painted or stained vinyl frame and sash components — provided the paint or stain was applied by PH — will be free from manufacturing defects for ten (10) years in residential applications (3 stories or less), and five (5) years in all other applications. PH guarantees no appreciable color fading (not exceeding ΔE = 5) caused by normal weather for five (5) years from the date of purchase.
Insulated Glass Unit (IGU)
Insulating glass units are warranted against permanent and material obstruction of vision from film formation caused by dust or moisture in the air space between the glass for the periods referenced in Table 1.0. Internal grilles/grids are warranted against insert slippage, flipping, or sagging if such defects occur during the first five (5) years.
Insulating glass units containing capillary tubes (recommended for installations 5,000+ feet above sea level) are warranted as referenced in Table 1.0.
Internal scratches on insulated glass units are warranted for two (2) months for residential applications and six (6) months for all other applications.
Operating Hardware: Handles and Locks
Operating hardware (mechanical and locking mechanisms) is covered by a five (5)-year warranty. PH will provide replacement parts at no cost; shipping and handling fees may apply. For doors installed within 1 mile (1.6 km) of saltwater and equipped with stainless steel and/or coastal product hardware (painted finishes only), the warranty period is one (1) year.
Screens
Standard Screens (Silensia®): 1 year, excluding mesh. Retractable Screens (Celesta®): 2 years, excluding mesh. Screens are not designed to and will not prevent falls.
Rollers
PH warrants patio door wheels against defective material and workmanship under normal use and service for five (5) years from the date of purchase, in residential use only.
Remedies
Where a defective Product is covered by these warranties, the original purchaser’s remedies are limited, at PH’s sole discretion, to: (1) repair of the defective Product or component; (2) replacement; or (3) refund of the original purchase price. Removal, shipping, painting, refinishing, installation, and similar costs are not covered.
Claims must be presented to PH in writing by the original purchaser within 30 days of discovery of the defect, with the original invoice for the Product.
No Assignment
The warranties provided herein are extended to the original purchaser only and are neither transferable nor assignable, including any third-party purchaser of the Products from a customer or any end user of a window or door manufacturer’s finished products.
Disclaimer
These Limited Warranties are exclusive and are your sole resulting remedy against PH from the purchase of a Product. PH will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or indirect losses. PH makes no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.
